Blender books

For an assignment of mine, I asked if anyone had any info about Blender books updated for 2.5. I got 2 replies from authors which surprised me.

One of the books is about effects and the other is more for beginners, both of these books look promising, so i recommend you guys take a look.

Undersoundz

Well, i handed in my web design project about the independent music label Undersoundz, hope all goes well. If anyone has some recommended forums to browse, i would love to hear your feedback.

Also its getting close to the end of the term, if anyone would like any tutorials on Blender features and functions i would be happy to assist.

FishBurger

The grand premiere of my world class animated movie "FishBurger" was released yesterday on Wednesday, the plot involves an adventurous fish who discovers the hard way that life isn't always about swimming in the reef. Feel free to ask me if you would like to see my movie.

Everything else at the Institute is going well, the website for Undersoundz is nearing completion and will be done in a matter of days. I am seeking someone to go out and do the photography assignment with, if anyone still needs it.

Bads News

Theres some good news and some bad news, I'm going to start with the bad. The bad news is my hard drive failed and I lost all my data. The good news is that i've been hard at work and have managed to catch up quite a bit, i'm currently at home cranking my Pendulum and working on my 2d animation, i'm still doing the same story as i was before.

Feel free to ask me on Thursday to see the completed animated movie.

Blender Forum

Today i joined a forum for Blender, I put up a post requesting a tutorial for how to do pond textures, the forum seems fairly active so I assume that i will get a reply soon.

The forum seems fairly promising so if your interested it would be worth taking a look.

There are many things on this forum such as tutorials, animation, game engine and modeling. The forum is very popular in the blender community and there is a lot of talk on there about Blender 2.5A2.

Drawing

Its getting to the end of the semester and its time to hand all our assignments in. My first one is my drawing assignment, it was an antithesis theme where we had to choose 2 elements and mix them together to create a single character.

The elements i chose were Machine and Dinosaur, to the left is an image of my work.

Blender Tutorials
